Lesbian rapper nominated for community award
DJs, gay health promotion groups and performers are among the nominees for the Black LGBT Community Awards.
"The awards act as an opportunity to celebrate all of those who contribute to the lives of Black LGBT people in the UK and beyond," said Rob Berkeley, chair of the Black Gay Men's Advisory Group.
"These awards are made even more special because the nominations have come from Black LGBT people and the awards are made by the public, through voting online."
Woman of the year nominees are community activist Phyll Opoku-Gyimah and rapper Mz Fontaine.
