Gay athletes on move for acceptance
NEWS ITEM: The 2008 Northwest Quest Gay Softball World Series will be held this week in Seattle with 175 teams and 4,000 athletes and fans from 41 cities in Canada and the U.S. participating.
The opening ceremonies are scheduled for Monday at 4 p.m. at the Seattle Center Mural Amphitheatre featuring keynote speakers David Kopay, the first American pro athlete to say he was gay, and Col.
