London hosts Gay Pride parade

More than half a million revellers are expected at this year's gay and lesbian Pride parade in London.

The theme is the Government's alleged failure to give refugee status to gay persecution victims in other countries.

Harriet Harman is among the politicians to speak in Trafalgar Square. Gay rights campaigner Peter Tatchell warned she could be in for a rough ride.
