Singapore premiere of the film Wilde set as benefit

Fridae.com, in support of Indignation - Singapore's gay pride season, is organising the Singapore premiere of the film Wilde (R21) on May 13, 2008. Net proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the festival which comprises talks, art exhibitions, readings of plays and poetry, together with some social events, scheduled for August 2008. All Indignation events are open to the public and are traditionally free of charge. The guest of honour for the event is Nominated Member of Parliament, Mr Siew Kum Hong who submitted a petition on behalf of the LGBT community and others who support the repeal of Section 377A to Parliament last year.
