MY boyfriend has dumped me so many times because he thinks I’m boring but I still love him.

I’m a 19-year-old gay guy and my boyfriend is 17.

We met two years ago and quickly became best friends.

I came out to him and the following week he told me he was bisexual.

I was insecure about his bisexuality at times, convinced he’d dump me for a girl.

We saw each other nearly every day but one night he told me he was bored and finished the relationship.

I was devastated but a few weeks later we got back together. Then he dumped me for a girl he met online.

It felt like he’d thrown me away for mere words over the internet.

Their relationship was over quickly and he got in touch with me again.

I was determined it was going to be different this time. We saw each other more and more. I was terrified of losing him again.

After a few weeks he told me he was starting to get bored again.

We decided to have a break and try to revive our friendship.

Two days later he was seeing another girl.

He remains a brilliant friend to me but it’s very painful seeing him and her together. I feel betrayed.

He says he still loves me but that we can’t be together right now.

He regularly tries to kiss me and we’ve started having sex again.

One day when I was feeling depressed he told me our friendship meant more to him than anything else and that he’d dump his girlfriend in favour of me if it was the only way to keep me.

I’m seriously thinking of taking him up on his offer.
