Happy Tranny Day: a Vancouver first

Vancouver held its first Happy Tranny Day Apr 13 — and organizers are already brainstorming ideas for next year's event.  Held at Heritage Hall on Main St, the event featured social activities in a safe and supportive space. "It is intended to be a safe and supportive space for trans people, our partners, family and friends to come together and celebrate our courage, resilience and creativity," says Tien Wee, who is spearheading the day-long celebration.
